Privacy Policy

MesuPro is a field note-taking and measurement tool ("MesuPro", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. It applies to www.mesupro.com and to the MesuPro application.
1. Person in charge of privacy
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at MesuPro is the company's president. You can reach them at support@mesupro.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), language and preferences.
- Organization: company name, invited members, roles and permissions.
- Content you create: projects, templates, measurements, notes, forms and exported files.
- Photos: the photos you add, with their metadata. Depending on your device, this metadata may include the date and GPS location where the photo was taken. A GPS location field is only filled in if you use it.
- Billing: name, billing address and subscription history. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never receive or store them.
- Waitlist: if you join it, your email, name and form answers (industry, measurement types, current tools).
- Support: the content of the messages you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, error logs, kept in our server logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Public website audience measurement: pages viewed, referrer and device type, collected in aggregate on www.mesupro.com only (see section 6).
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service: create your account, save and sync your data, produce your PDF and Excel exports.
- To manage your trial and subscription, bill you and apply taxes.
- To send you necessary emails: address verification, password reset, invitations, billing and trial notices.
- To keep the service secure: prevent fraud and abuse, detect and fix errors.
- To improve MesuPro using aggregated usage statistics.
- To answer your support requests and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not use your data to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Consent
By creating an account, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent by closing your account (see section 9); some features will then no longer be available to you.
If you add information about other people to the service (for example a client's name in a project note), you are responsible for having the right to do so.
5. Service providers
We rely on the following providers to operate MesuPro. They process your information only to provide their service to us, under our instructions and contractual confidentiality and security commitments.

Some of these providers are located outside Quebec and Canada, mainly in the United States. Your information may therefore be stored there and be subject to the laws of those countries. Before these transfers, we assessed that these providers offer adequate protection for your information.
We may also disclose information when required by law, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
6. Cookies and audience measurement
MesuPro uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking tools. The application only uses the storage it needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences (language, theme) and temporarily keeping entries made offline.
To measure traffic on our public website www.mesupro.com, we use Umami, a tool hosted on our own servers. Umami sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you across sites: it produces aggregated statistics (pages viewed, referrer, device type, country).
Umami is self-hosted: it runs on our own infrastructure (at our hosting provider Railway) and only the MesuPro team can access these statistics. They are not sold, not shared with third parties and not used for advertising. Only the public website is measured: the MesuPro application, where your projects and measurements live, sends no audience measurement data.
7. Retention
- Account and content: as long as your account exists. You can ask at any time for your account and data to be deleted by writing to support: we delete them on request, within 30 days, and they then drop out of our backups as those are rotated.
- Billing: invoices and accounting records are kept for 6 years, as required by tax laws.
- Waitlist: until the service launches and for at most 12 months, or until you ask to be removed.
- Technical logs: at most 90 days.
8. Security
Traffic to MesuPro is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, access to data is limited to authorized members of your organization and to our staff who need it, and our providers apply recognized security measures. Since no system is infallible, we will notify you and the relevant privacy authority of any privacy incident that presents a risk of serious harm, as the law requires.
9. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
- get your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (your projects can also be exported from the application);
- request the deletion of your account and information, subject to our legal retention obligations;
- withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from the waitlist.
Write to us at support@mesupro.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Intended audience
MesuPro is a tool for professionals and businesses. It is not intended for people under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The last update date appears at the top of this page. For any significant change, we will let you know by email or in the application before it takes effect.
